Perm Free 2yrs and going strong

2 yrs ago in July of 2007 I made a BIG decision to stop perming my hair and I think it is one of the best decision I ever did. My hair is so healthy. During the summer months with perms my hair was straight at the roots and frizzy on the ends. I can honestly said I dreaded the summer with permed hair. NOW I can do a wash-and-go
(who knew) and I am set. I can run through the sprinkler in the park with my daugther and not worry about a bad hair day horray lol. All the other mommy's were watching and wishing not I lol.

Below are a few hair tips that you can do to keep your hair shiny and healthy without going broke and looking for items that are free of Petrolatum and Mineral oil which clogs hair pores. Make sure products you buy don't contain these.

My hair treatments are pretty simple and can all be found in your fridge...For deep conditions I use avocados, mayo, honey and eggs...mix mix and mix...add a few drops of your favorite EO or FO add it to your hair put on a cap and let sit for about 1 hr then wash with a good shampoo.

Hot oil treatments are best on hair that has NOT been wash so it can soak up all the oil into the scalp like a sponge...I put my coconut, grapeseed, olive oil and jojoba oil in a bowl heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds add EO or FO pour onto hair and put a heat cap on let sit for about 1 hr and rinse with shampoo.

Hope these work for you..Please post and let me know how it goes...Thanks for stopping by and helping me celebrate my 2 yrs of success.
